These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the PDF Scanner - Document Studio mobile application (“PDF Scanner,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading or using PDF Scanner, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
PDF Scanner - Document Studio is a document scanning and management app for iOS. The App allows you to scan, import, edit, save, view, export, and sign documents on your device.
You must be at least 13 years old to use PDF Scanner. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
PDF Scanner does not require you to create an account. Your documents and app data are stored locally on your device unless otherwise stated in our Privacy Policy.

We may change, add, or remove features at any time.
PDF Scanner offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (“PDF Scanner Pro”) through the Apple App Store.

Payment and billing
Apple handles all payment processing. We do not collect or store your payment card information.
Free trials
PDF Scanner Pro does not currently include a free trial unless otherwise stated in the App Store listing at the time of purchase.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s policies. We cannot process refunds directly.
You are responsible for all documents, images, signatures, and other content you scan, import, create, edit, or export using PDF Scanner (“Your Content”).
You agree that:
PDF Scanner provides tools to add signatures to documents. We do not guarantee that any signature created in the App is legally valid or acceptable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for determining whether a digital signature meets your legal, business, or personal requirements.
Your documents and related data are stored locally on your device. We do not operate cloud storage for Your Content as part of the App.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of important documents. We are not responsible for loss of data due to device failure, app deletion, or other causes.

We may suspend or restrict access to the App if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
PDF Scanner, including its design, features, branding, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You retain ownership of Your Content.
PDF Scanner uses Apple services, including the App Store and in-app purchase systems. Your use of those services is subject to Apple’s terms and policies.
The App may allow you to export or share documents using your device’s built-in sharing features. Any sharing through third-party apps or services is at your own discretion and subject to those services’ terms.
PDF Scanner is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that:
The App is intended for general document management purposes only and does not provide legal, financial, tax, or professional advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, revenue, or business arising from your use of the App.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for PDF Scanner Pro subscriptions in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or AUD $50 if no such payments were made.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from:
We may update the App or these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
We may modify or discontinue the App, or suspend your access, if required by law or if you violate these Terms.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If you access the App from outside Australia, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
