PDF Scanner - Document Studio is a document scanning app for iOS that helps you scan, import, edit, and manage documents. You can capture documents with your camera, import photos or files, apply edits and filters, and save documents to your library.

Does PDF Scanner - Document Studio require an account?

No. PDF Scanner - Document Studio does not require an account or sign-in. Your documents are stored locally on your device.

What can I do for free?

Free users can:

• Scan documents with the camera
• Import photos or files
• Edit pages (rotate, filter, reorder, delete)
• Save scanned documents to the library

Pro features require an active subscription.

What is included with PDF Scanner Pro?

PDF Scanner Pro unlocks:

• Viewing documents in your library
• Exporting and sharing PDFs
• Adding signatures to documents
• Searchable text (OCR) in exported PDFs
• Password-protected PDF exports

How do subscriptions work?

PDF Scanner - Document Studio offers optional subscriptions through the App Store:

• Monthly: $5.99/month
• Yearly: $49.99/year

Payment is handled by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

How do I restore my subscription?

Open the app, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. If you have an active subscription linked to your Apple ID, Pro features will be unlocked.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone
2. Tap your name
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Select PDF Scanner Pro and tap Cancel Subscription

Does PDF Scanner - Document Studio work offline?

Most features work offline, including scanning, importing, editing, and saving documents to your library.

An internet connection is required to purchase or restore subscriptions.

Is my document data uploaded anywhere?

No. PDF Scanner - Document Studio stores your documents, scans, and signatures locally on your device. We do not upload your document content to external servers.

Can I transfer my documents to another device?

At this time, PDF Scanner - Document Studio does not support cloud syncing or transferring documents between devices. Your documents remain stored locally on your device.

Why can’t I view a document in my library?

Viewing saved documents is a Pro feature. If you are using the free version, you will see your documents listed in the library but will be prompted to subscribe when you try to open them.

Why isn’t the camera or photo import working?

PDF Scanner - Document Studio needs permission to use your camera and photo library.

To check permissions:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone
2. Scroll down and tap PDF Scanner - Document Studio
3. Enable Camera and Photos as needed

If you previously denied access, you may need to enable it manually in Settings.

Are signatures legally binding?

PDF Scanner - Document Studio provides tools to add signatures to documents. You are responsible for ensuring that any signature or document you create or share meets your legal or business requirements.
